Intercom & video entry Clear communication

For a seamless visitor welcome — explained simply.

Clear communication

This guide explains, in plain terms, our approach to video intercom: a solution combining visual communication and entry telephony, integrated directly with your access control system.

The goal is simple: let every visitor, delivery person or contractor announce themselves at the entrance and be identified, heard and, if appropriate, let in — with no complications and no unnecessary delay. This document explains what our offering includes, without unnecessary jargon.

01

Video intercom: see and hear your visitors

The principle

An intercom station at the entrance captures the visitor’s image and sound and transmits them live to an indoor monitor, a phone or a mobile app. You see who is there before you even open the door.

What this delivers

  • Visual identification : you know exactly who is waiting at the entrance before answering.
  • Two-way communication : a clear voice exchange in both directions, like a phone call.
  • Remote answering : the ability to answer from anywhere via a mobile app, even when off site.

Stations suited to every context

  • Single-button intercom : for a simple access point, such as an office or residential door.
  • Intercom with digital directory : for multi-occupant buildings, with search by name.
  • Rugged outdoor station : weather resistant, suited to main entrances or parking areas.
02

Entry telephony

Just another phone call

Entry telephony lets the intercom station call one or more phone numbers directly, landline or mobile, rather than relying on a fixed indoor monitor. The visitor dials or selects a name, and the call is routed like a standard phone call.

Flexibility that helps day to day

  • Call forwarding : if the first person does not answer, the call can be redirected automatically to someone else.
  • Multi-user access : several people can receive and answer the same call, useful for a shared reception.
  • No app required : a simple incoming call on an existing phone can be enough, depending on the chosen configuration.
03

Full integration with access control

See, speak and open in a single gesture

The video intercom does not work in isolation: it is connected to your access control system. Once the visitor is identified and the exchange is over, the door can be unlocked directly from the call, with no need to walk over.

A seamless welcome, from first contact to entry

  • Remote unlocking : unlock the door with one tap, from the phone or the app, during or after the call.
  • Temporary access : the option to generate one-time access for an expected delivery or visitor, with no live answer needed.
  • Unified history : every call and every associated door opening is logged in the same platform as your other access events.

This integration avoids juggling several separate systems: intercom, video and access control work as one coherent tool.

What this approach gives you

  • Fluidity

A frictionless visitor welcome: identification, conversation and door opening in a single interaction.

  • Flexibility

The ability to answer from anywhere, on an existing phone or a dedicated app.

  • Security

Systematic visual identification before any door is opened, with a reviewable history.

  • Consistency

A single platform bringing together intercom, video and access control, rather than separate systems to manage.
